Linux — Changing the Screen Resolution
If your particular lab environment does not have the options below it may be running a different version of linux. You will want to access the System Settings and then look for the Display settings to adjust your resolution.
Step 1
Click the username or the down arrow in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 2
Select either the text System Settings or the tool icon.
Step 3
Select Displays from the settings list.
Step 4
Select the display from the list, likely referred to as Unknown Display.
Step 5
Change the Resolution dropdown to a larger resolution than the selected value.
Step 6
Click Apply in the upper right corner.
Step 7
The screen will automatically resize to fit the selected resolution. Click Keep Setting to keep the new value or it will automatically revert after 15 seconds.
